Terms of Service

Please read these Terms before using Memory Match (the “App”), a card-matching game for children aged 3–8, (“we,” “us”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Who may use the App

The App is designed for children ages 3 to 8 and the parents or guardians who set it up. If you are a parent or guardian, you accept these Terms on behalf of your child. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must review and accept these Terms before you use the App.

2. The service

Memory Match is an interactive matching game: players tap pairs of concealed cards to find identical illustrations, colors, shapes, or numbers. Features may include flip animations, optional sound, timers and move counts, a parent dashboard, child profiles, accessibility options, offline play, and an optional custom photo card set. Platforms may include iOS, Android, and a web progressive web app (PWA). Features ship in phases; not every item is available on day one.

4. Educational use, not professional advice

Memory Match is a playful practice tool for memory, attention, and spatial recall. It is not a medical device, school assessment, or substitute for professional educational or clinical evaluation.

Dashboard charts describe in-app play. They are not a diagnosis and should not be the sole basis for educational or health decisions.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to reverse engineer it except as allowed by law, interfering with other users, uploading unlawful or harmful content in custom cards, or using the App in any way that violates applicable law.

6. Intellectual property

The App, its design, default artwork (including the Animals theme), sounds, and this website remain owned by Rohan Morris and licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial family use.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, pause, or discontinue features. Store listings, web URLs, and “coming soon” download buttons on the promotional site are informational until an official store or web release is live. Offline play depends on the device having cached assets and enough storage.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that matching practice will produce any particular learning outcome, or that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rohan Morris and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data stored only on your device, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim (or zero if the App was free).

Some places do not allow certain limitations. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how local storage, and COPPA-oriented design work. Using the App means you also acknowledge that policy.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it or clearing the PWA’s site data. We may stop offering the App or these Terms’ license if you materially breach them.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product grows (for example, two-player mode or store billing). Continued use after an in-app or website notice of material changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, where permitted by law.
